Biographical
General (political statement of goals, objectives, views, philosophies)

My goals are to work on economic development utilizing the assets on my district, I also aim to promote education for our future leaders, and protecting our working class who have been attacked by the present administration with bills like SB 5. I also want to let people know the so called $3 billion in tax breaks favors those making above $250,000 who get around a $6,000 tax break where middle class workers get around $40. I want to reinstate the Homestead Act so the elderly can take advantage of the tax breaks when they turn 65 which now isn't possible. I also want to increase funding in education that was slashed by $2 billion dollars leading to larger class sizes and 60% of schools facing a budget shortage due to the cuts. I also want to increase funding to local governments that was slashed by 50% leading to 25,000 people losing their jobs that includes teachers, fire fighters, and police officers. Ohio has led the nation in job losses 5 of the last 20 months and was one of only 4 states who didn't see an increase in jobs in 2013. I also want to take out the language that makes Ohio the worst women friendly states in the nation. Helping military personnel to integrate back into society and providing training for those returning soldiers so they can have a job is also a priority.

Reasons & Objectives
Areas to Concentrate On

Economic development is the first item since my district is around 2% above the nation in unemployment. Education is my next pressing issue since our future leaders are our present school aged kids, and protecting the rights of the working class by preventing legislation like SB5 and HB69.

Goals If Elected

The first thing I want to accomplish when elected is to expand economic development looking into new industries and expanding present industries.

Achievements If Elected

I plan to achieve utilizing the assets of my district that is US 30 that is a distribution dream for any company due to being linked to several major US Highways such as I70, I71, and I75 that go all over the United States. I also plan to provide more funding for school since education is presently not a priority with our current administration where Governor Kasich has cut $2.9 billion over the next 2 years forcing many schools to do without or try to pass levies to survive. I also plan to fight agains bills like SB5 and HB69 that go after our firemen, police, and other public service workers.

On Entering Public Service

Entering public service is something I never dreamed of doing. I feel the only way to be part of the solution is to enter public service instead of just talking about it like I have done for years. My business background and education I feel will be major assets for me and the district. I have been a factory worker most of my life and have been through just about everything people are facing now with financial problems and such. It is time as my slogan says: Putting the "Public" back in public service.

Welfare
Improving Ohio Welfare System

I think a better system of tracking those who are on assistance would stop a lot of abuse and waste inthe system. I also feel drug testing would be a plus to stop giving assistance to those who spend their money on drugs instead of necessities.

Ohio Welfare, a General Statement

I do feel that anyone who needs assistance should be able to get it. I also feel that drug testing should be part of the process when applying for aid.
